I - GENERAL INFORMATION
The www.discomaton.fr website offers a service for the engraving of personalized vinyl records, individually or in small series (up to 50 copies). These terms and conditions apply to all services offered by the www.discomaton.fr website.
Discomaton reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale.
II - COMPANY DETAILS
It is agreed in the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale that the appellation "Société www.discomaton.fr " defines the association of Messrs Arnaud Cadaze and Louis Coumian, both sound engineers and registered as self-employed entrepreneurs in this capacity:

Furthermore, any person(s) is/are referred to and considered as "Customer(s)":
- having created a personal account on the site www.discomaton.fr,
- who have ordered at least one service/product from Discomaton.
- having finally paid for this order.
III - WARRANTIES
Discs are guaranteed against any manufacturing or playback defect. www.discomaton.fr cannot be held responsible for any poor sound quality on audio files sent by customers for burning on record. In case of doubt or confirmation of the quality of these audio files, www.discomaton.fr will contact customers by email or telephone.
Upon receipt of the order by the customer, the latter has 15 days to contest a manufacturing defect (audio or physical) on his/her record(s) or a defect in the printing of the graphic files (center label, sticker, cover ...). We will ask them to justify any defect by e-mail, accompanied if necessary by a photo or video to illustrate the problem encountered. After the 15-day deadline, www.discomaton.fr will no longer take into account the defect or problem encountered, and will be in a position to decline all responsibility.
IV - PERSONALIZED VINYL DISC BURNING
The engraving of record by the unit does not require authorization from the SDRM (Société des Droits pour la Reproduction Mécanique) for its manufacture, since it is not a question of mechanical reproduction as such, but of handcrafted work for a single copy. Consequently, the acceptance by the customer of the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale, commits him absolutely to using his record engraved for him by the Discomaton company only for personal use in a private circle, and that it cannot be sold. Discomaton cannot be held responsible for any illegal use of record engraved by a customer.
Discomaton burns audio files sent by customers onto PVC discs. The name " record Vinyl" or " record Vinyl" is used by Discomaton to simplify communication about its personalized disc engraving service. The reality of the plastic nature of the discs used being specified herein, it cannot be considered as "Misleading Advertising" by the customer.
V - MANAGEMENT OF PERSONAL DATA, AUDIO AND GRAPHIC FILES
Discomaton expressly undertakes never to distribute or share in any way, on any medium or digital platform, the audio or graphic files sent by customers for engraving and printing purposes. Under no circumstances will audio files sent by customers be transferred or sold to third parties. If the customer requests the engraving of audio files from existing physical sources such as CD, cassette or magnetic tape, these sources are returned to them when their order is sent. They are only listened to and used within the strict framework of carrying out an order placed by customers.
The Discomaton company obviously undertakes to exercise all the discretion expected by its customers within the framework of professional secrecy with regard to the potential personal or intimate nature of the contents present on the audio files.
Concerning the personal data provided by the customer when creating his personal account on the online site, in accordance with the "Loi Informatique et Libertés n°78-17 du 6 janvier 1978", the customer has the right to access, rectify, oppose and delete data concerning him with the company Discomaton.
Customers undertake to hold the full copyright for the content they send to Discomaton to be engraved on a record. If Discomaton has any doubts about the veracity of the copyright ownership of the content sent by customers, it reserves the right to refuse to manufacture record , and this refusal, notified by e-mail, will be followed by a full refund of the order.
The Discomaton company, in its desire to promote certain content, in particular musical content, which it may have recorded for musician customers wishing to have their own works recorded on discs, may offer to record this same content on a record promotional compilation. Discomaton will not engrave these contents again without the explicit authorization of the customers holding the rights to said contents.
VI - ORDERING
It is hereby agreed that the term "series" refers to the manufacture of record vinyls carrying the same content in quantities of 10 or more.
To order, the customer must first select the customization options available on the product page. These are listed in the order in which they appear on the page:
- The burning speed is referred to as "78t" for seventy-eight revolutions per minute, "45t" for forty-five revolutions per minute or "33t" for thirty-three revolutions per minute. Note that record can contain several different playback speeds if the content and size of record allow.

- The color of the outter sleeve.
- The color of record.
- The color of the paper under cover
- The number of pieces for each side of the record.
- The choice or not of adding a printed sticker to the cover cardboard exterior of record , as well as the choice of format.
Once all the personalization options have been defined by the customer, the site automatically calculates the price. It is possible, depending on the order in which the customer selects the options, that the calculation is performed incorrectly on the aforementioned page. This error will be automatically corrected when the personalized product is added to the shopping cart. It is the customer's responsibility to check the accuracy of the options selected for the product(s) added to the shopping cart.
Once the order has been confirmed, you will receive an automatic e-mail containing all the details of the order, i.e. the choice of each personalization option, as mentioned above in the general terms and conditions of sale, for each product as well as the quantities ordered, and the total amount of the order including shipping costs. Sending your order form means that you accept these general sales conditions, the prices and the quantities ordered. You are entirely responsible for any incorrect delivery and/or invoicing address when entering your personal details on the website. Delivery charges will be invoiced again for a second shipment.
The company Discomaton reserves the right not to carry out the order of a customer who, during a previous order, could have been a source of litigation or dispute.
VII - MANUFACTURING
Your personalized engraved record is produced as soon as we receive confirmation of payment for your order. This takes place once we have received your audio, graphic and visual files.
VIII - PRICES
Prices are indicated in euros (€ symbol) excluding VAT on the product pages and VAT in the shopping cart.
Shipping costs are indicated in the order summary and on the invoice.
Prices may be modified at any time by Discomaton , but in no case between the placing of the order by the customer and the sending of the invoice for the order by Discomaton.
X - PAYMENT
All orders are payable in Euros (€ symbol) only.
Payment for orders placed by customers on the www.discomaton.fr website can be made by :
- Bank transfer: the bank details of the account to be credited by customers are indicated at the end of their order on the www.discomaton.fr website.
- Bank cheques: record will be processed as soon as the host banks of Discomaton 's bank accounts have confirmed that the cheque is valid.
- Cash: Cash payments are possible if the customer offers to pick up the order himself at Discomaton' s address or at workshops or trade fairs where Discomaton travels.
X - REFUNDS AND CREDIT NOTES
Any request for a refund or credit note by the customer must be made by e-mail to the following address: contact (@) discomaton.fr
Discomaton wishes to inform its customers that it is not possible to refund the amount of an order once the order has been received by the customer, even if the customer identifies a fault in the execution of the order. This is because, once the order has been received by the customer, the order has already been processed (preparation, engraving, printing, labor and hourly labor) and the related costs have already been incurred.
In the event of a manufacturing defect in the custom-engraved record , Discomaton will remanufacture the order at its own expense.
If the customer wishes to retract or cancel the order after payment, Discomaton will issue a credit note for the total amount indicated on the order form. This credit note will be valid for 3 months from the date of cancellation of the order by the customer. After this period, the total amount of the credit note will be lost.
In the case of a refund request made after dispatch or receipt of the customer's order, the credit note can only be issued from the date of receipt by Discomaton of the defective product(s). In the case of an order made up of several items, only the product(s) presenting a defect (in accordance with article III) must be returned. The remainder of the order remains due. The amount of the credit note will be equal to the price applied to the customer when the order was placed. In fact, an item purchased during a promotion/sale or with any kind of discount will be reimbursed at the final price shown on the order form or invoice.
XI - SHIPPING / DELIVERY
Orders are dispatched to the address indicated on the order form within 7 to 21 working days of receipt of payment for single record orders, or longer for series orders, depending on the number of discs ordered. Once the parcel has been dispatched, delivery takes 2 to 3 days to France and 3 to 4 days to other countries (La Poste's current delivery times). To dispatch your order, the customer has several shipping options, as indicated on the order form:
- Shipment by Colissimo Suivi, delivered without signature.
- Delivery by Colissimo Recommandé, against signature.
- Shipment by Colissimo International (for deliveries abroad), delivered against signature.
At the time of delivery, the customer must check the condition of the packaging and, if possible, its contents, in the presence of the letter carrier, deliveryman or agent.
Once the order has been delivered, the customer assumes responsibility for any damage the discs may suffer or cause for any reason whatsoever.
XII - SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES
These conditions of online sale are governed by French law. In the event of litigation, jurisdiction is attributed to the courts of Paris (75), notwithstanding multiple defendants or warranty claims.
